Tim & Me

My name is Megan Finnegan.  I am a recently engaged journalist, currently a master’s candidate at the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism, where I’m concentrating in Arts and Culture reporting and multimedia journalism.  I have a B.A. in Theatre and English from Muhlenberg College, which is also where I met my fiance, Tim.  I moved to Brooklyn two years ago to “become a writer,” ended up working at a lace company in the garment district and then decided to go back to school while continuing my freelance career.  I also serve as Board Member and Web Mistress for my fiance’s non-profit theatre troupe, A Festival of Fools, and write an online column for Irish Central called Finnegan’s Awake, focusing on Irish-American and Catholic issues.
